Process Description

The selection research processย is both multi-faceted and multi-staged, and it can take up to a year.

The process starts with a formal nomination stage, during which peer grant-making foundations and other qualified entities can make written recommendations after receiving an invitation to do so by RUF (the nonprofits cannot nominate themselves).

The second stage is the qualification stage: during this stage, nonprofits are required to complete a questionnaire asking for typical information you may expect in a grant-making (financials, projects, governance) and to submit supporting documents.

The last stage is the selection stage during which nonprofits are graded based on a balanced evaluation score system and voted during a two-stage selection process.

Nominating Entities

The following peer grant-making foundations and qualified entities have been invited to submit their nominations for the nonprofit selection process.
