Our board members have had diverse life experiences. Some were born and raised under a totalitarian regime in Eastern Europe – Romania, others were raised in a country full of liberty and opportunities offered by a capitalist country, more specifically, Canada. We represent a program that started from an initiative offered by Canadian Ministry of Education to keep our cultural and linguistic entities alive. We have come together, as a group, with different educational and professional experiences.  Our team is comprised of people who put ideas into action, and together we share the same belief, keeping alive the Romanian language and cultural entity and to expand the program offered by the Canadian Government. This is an opportunity we have to build on.  What drives us, our main engine – our love for our homeland as well as educating Canadian children of Romanian heritage and adults from Romanian communities living in Hamilton & amp; Halton. We are confident this program is an excellent opportunity for our community to keep and upkeep cultural, traditional and Romanian language in the country we choose to live in. Every day, our team, using diverse opportunities is preserving the Romanian culture on Canadian soil. Focusing on the educational sector, we started promoting Romanian culture and traditions. Our activities aim to assist children in preserving Romanian language, prepare programming targeting Romanian communities and actively participating at multicultural events. We are open to any suggestions or new ideas that help continue the development of our main objectives and assist us in better spreading our message. Romania, known as a “hospitable Nation”, it is our hope our Canadian counterparts will accept us with open arms and embrace our traditions. We have partnered with other not-for-profit Romanian organizations and have participated in common theme projects. We consider ourselves privileged to have the possibility of influencing, in a positive manner, children as well parents.
