Description

Air pollution is an invisible killer that can affect our bodies and minds. It can trigger changes in our bodies' natural defenses. For Declic, the only solution is to create an installation that shows the levels of toxic particles in the air and how long it lasts.

The project contains a reproduction of human lungs built with HEPA filters and ventilators that are imitating the breathing process. This installation was placed in various cities in Romania showing people the quality of the air they are breathing.

DECLIC's goal is to move the installation in as many of the top polluted cities as they can, to bring awareness. The costs for every move, in every city, are evaluated at approximately 1500 EUR. All funds raised will be used to cover:

  • Changing the filters that coat the lungs /per city
  • Transportation of the installation /per city
  • Placement / per city
