Contributing to changes education law in Romania

In January, together with our partners at CFRCEC, Scoala Romana de la HAGA and a group of 30 schools and Romanian language teachers from the Diaspora, RUF participated and helped the Diaspora efforts to pass important changes to the new Education Law in Romania. After 5 months of efforts, communication sessions, stakeholder consultations and expert recommendations, the articles 61 and 62 were signed into law.

RUF is supporting the NGO Sector in Romania

The initiative is led by Asociatia pentru Relatii Comunitare against the potential disruptions within the non-governmental sector. We have officially signed the petition and the open letter to the Romanian Government to express our concerns and to advocate for the preservation of the rights and benefits of the NGO sector.

At this moment, companies with a turnover of over 50 million EUR are still able to make sponsorships within the same constraints as before.
